Why we started with the worst day

Every travel site is good at the easy part. Search, compare, pay — the industry solved that a decade ago. What nobody solved is the 6am text that says your flight is cancelled, followed by a helpline queue and a fare that has doubled since you booked.So we built the recovery engine first and the booking flow around it. A monitor watches every active booking, a policy engine decides in seconds whether a disruption is covered, and a rebooking runs automatically — usually before the traveller has finished reading the airline's apology.See exactly how that works

Flight Protection is included on every fare with no opt-in and no line on your bill. A paid add-on would make it a product; free makes it a promise.

You should see the whole price

Our service fee and convenience fee are their own rows in your price breakdown, next to the airline's. The total never moves without a row explaining why.

Say what happened, not what's convenient

If a payment reverses, a disruption isn't covered, or a fare has changed, you get told plainly and told what to do next.

Fix it before you notice

We watch your booking and the airline's own reservation record around the clock, so we usually know about a cancellation before the airline's email lands.

The company behind it

Namaste Udan is operated in India and books through a global airline content provider, which is how a single search reaches both full-service and low-cost carriers. Flights are sold under the airlines' own fare rules; Flight Protection is our own commitment on top of them, and its policy terms are ours to honour.
